USA Shipping Update – Thursday, 25th September 2025
We’re thrilled to announce that Broochella has re-opened shipping to the USA! With Australia Post resuming services, we’ve secured the best possible solution to get your orders delivered with ease and confidence.
All US orders will now be shipped via Sendle, our preferred carrier on Shopify. We’ve introduced a flat Shipping & Tariff fee of $49 AUD for every order, which ensures that no additional charges will be payable on delivery. Everything is taken care of upfront, so you can shop with peace of mind.
This service is being launched as a 2-week trial while we monitor how tariffs are applied and confirm that this solution works smoothly for our US community.
Behind the scenes, we’ve been working to secure the smoothest, most efficient way to resume US deliveries. While Australia Post finalises its long-term solution, we’re delighted that Sendle enables us to begin shipping again immediately.

Why this solution?
Some businesses have increased product prices for US customers or left tariffs and duties to be paid on delivery. That didn’t feel right for us. Instead, we’ve chosen a flat fee that keeps things simple and transparent, with Broochella handling tariff compliance directly.
Our goal is to make shopping with Broochella seamless, stress-free, and free of unexpected costs. After the 2-week trial ends, we’ll review tariff impacts and share an update by 9th October (including any necessary adjustments to the fee).

FAQs – USA Shipping with Broochella
Will the same shipping and tariff fee apply, regardless of my order amount?
Yes. At this stage, all US orders will be shipped with Sendle, our preferred carrier on Shopify, at a flat Shipping & Tariff fee of $49 AUD (approx. $33 USD). This applies no matter how much you order.
We’ve introduced this flat fee to keep things simple and to cover all tariff risks upfront — meaning no surprise fees on delivery. You can order from Broochella with complete confidence.
Why is this only a 2-week trial?
This is a new process, and we need to confirm that it works smoothly for everyone. If we’re able to reduce the flat fee, we will. Likewise, depending on how tariffs are charged in practice, the fee may need to be adjusted.
We’ve always been transparent with our community and will continue to keep you updated in real time.
Why can’t you offer a free shipping threshold?
As a small business, we can’t currently absorb the added cost of US tariffs at scale. We hope that as policies stabilise, we’ll be able to reintroduce a free shipping threshold for our US customers.
How much is $49 AUD in USD?
As of 25th September 2025, $49 AUD is approximately $33 USD. Exchange rates change daily, so we recommend checking the latest rate on Google or your preferred currency converter for up-to-date information.
What are the delivery times?
Sendle’s current estimated delivery window is 6–10 business days. Please note that during busy periods, it may take up to 14 business days for your order to arrive.
What happens if my order is delayed?
If your order hasn’t arrived within 14 business days, please get in touch with our customer care team. We will investigate the delay with Sendle.
Please note: Sendle requires 30 days to pass before an official investigation can be lodged, but we’ll always support you throughout the process.
Will I need to pay any extra fees on delivery?
No. The flat $49 AUD fee covers all shipping, tariffs, duties, and taxes. You won’t be asked to pay anything further when your parcel arrives.
