Broochella Warranty & Care Policy

Every piece of Broochella jewellery, including silk, beaded, metal, feather, and fabric brooches, comes with a 6-month warranty against manufacturing defects and workmanship. The warranty becomes void if the product has been subjected to misuse, alteration by anyone other than Broochella, or exposure to spills, stains, or chemicals.

6-Month Warranty Process

Broochella will gladly repair, exchange, or refund a faulty item in accordance with the following process:

  1. Proof of Purchase: The item must have been purchased within 6 months of notification.
  2. Notification: Notify Broochella by email at broochella@broochella.com with:
    • A clear photograph of the fault
    • A written description of the fault
    • Proof of purchase, such as an email confirmation from Broochella, a bank statement, or an order number from Broochella
  3. Response Time: Broochella will respond within 2 business days.
  4. Return Process:
    • All items must be returned to Broochella via a trackable method, as Broochella is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.
    • For international returns, please clearly mark “Returned Goods” on the consignment to prevent customs duties and taxes upon re-entry to Australia.
  5. Assessment & Resolution:
    • Upon receipt, Broochella will assess the item. If deemed faulty, Broochella will repair, replace, or refund the item, or offer an exchange if the item cannot be repaired or replaced. Exchanges are subject to stock availability.
    • If an exchange item has a different price, the difference will be refunded.
    • All refunds will be processed through the original payment method. Please allow up to 14 days from assessment for the refund to be credited.
  6. Free Returns for Faulty Items: Broochella covers return shipping costs for confirmed faulty items.

Faulty Items

Each item undergoes a thorough quality check, but occasional faults may be missed. Wear and tear from normal use, including natural oxidation of metals, is not considered a manufacturing fault. This includes tarnishing or changes due to exposure to chemicals like perfume, moisturizers, and skincare products, as well as loss of stones, breaking, or chipping from mishandling.

Please note that spills or stains from liquids are not considered a manufacturing fault and will not be covered under warranty for fabric, feather, or beaded brooches. Care should be taken to protect these delicate materials from contact with liquids and other potential staining agents. Variance in Brooches & Jewelry

Broochella brooches and jewelry pieces are crafted by skilled artisans in India. Each piece bears unique characteristics, and slight variations may occur in metals, crystals, stones, feathers, and fabrics, enhancing their individuality. These variances are not covered under warranty. If you have specific concerns about variances, please contact us at broochella@broochella.com.


Repairs

For repair requests beyond the warranty period, please email broochella@broochella.com. Include details of the repair needed, and we will determine if it can be accommodated along with any associated charges. Shipping charges for repair requests are the responsibility of the customer.


Third-Party Purchases

Broochella does not accept returns or warranty claims for items purchased through Broochella stockists. Please contact the stockist where the item was purchased and follow their returns policy.
